Bed: We have chosen a bed to be in our film opening because a bed shows that the girl is just a normal teenage living a normal life and this makes it more of a significant change when the film opening goes on.

Mirror: We used a mirror to also show that the girl in the film opening is normal as she is putting on her make up in the morning like any other normal teenager. 

Phone: We are using a phone in our film opening to show that the girl could have a "secret" life on the internet/text. This makes the audience think what she is doing on her phone and creates suspense.

School bag/school uniform: A school bag and school uniform shows that she is teenager and still goes to school showing the audience that she is still quite young and she shouldn't be talking to random guys online. The school uniform represents the girl still being vulnerable.

Missing poster: we have this  in our film opening to give the audience an idea of the what the story is actually about.
