Juno Title Sequence Timeline/Analysis

This timeline shows the order of the opening sequence from the popular comedy Juno. There are 23 titles within 2:12 minutes. The first titles are the Production companies making the film e.g Fox Searchlight Pictures. Second title is the actually title of the film, Juno. After this is the title title 5 to title 11 are actors starred in the film along with who casted them, this gives the audience an idea f what the film is going to be about as they may recognise some of the actors starring. Followed by the costume designer and the music supervisor and who the music is by.  Then the co producers and the film editor followed by the different type of producer and finally the most important the director and the writer of the film.The order of the titles are significant because they have left the most important titles until last. The most important titles are title title 21, 22 and 23. this is because it is producer, the writer of the film and the director. They left the most important titles to last as they are more rememberable for the audience. The font is block capitals and bold.The titles are in a cartoon/colouring book style, this makes the audience question what genre the film is going to be. The relationship between the genre can be shown in the title sequence as its a simple but effective layout this therefore links to comedy.
